Home Cinema Big

Decent home cinema?

Just bought a big Panasonic Plasma and DVD recorder, And am looking for a half decent but cheap AV reciever and speaker package to boost the sound system. Any suggestions? I’m based in the U.K.

You can get an award winning Onkyo TX-SR505E for £215 from Onkyo-Now, coupled with the Q Acoustics 1010 series speaker kit for £299. Both are multi-award winners and the basis for a very fine HT kit.

Both these units have now been superceded and up until last week were £250 and £499 respectively. They were a bargain then, now they’re a steal!

Don’t even consider Bose, lots of bass and treble, absolutely no mid-range, trully appalling sound.
