tv stand for 61 inch rca big screen tv?

i have one of the older model rca scenuim big screen projection tv’s. it is the kind with the thin top that u cant sit anything on. does anyone know if rca makes a stand for this model. i dont have anywhere to put components and the generic stands will have my tv sitting about 6 ft in the air……please help.

It’s not a stand you’re needing, rather it’s a shelf such as the Omni Shelf, available at Circuit City for under $40. These go on top of the TV and are made for holding a center channel speaker, Home Theater receiver and DVD player and they are just the ticket for such applications. You could probably find other brands available on line with a little looking but you get the general idea. Hope this helps, good luck and have a great weekend.
