Help I Cracked my 32 inch Philips Lcd Flat Hdtv Need help with choosing a new one.?

My 32 inch Philips Flat-Panel LCD HDTV fell of my tv stand and now the screen is cracked, I hear trying to get it repaired will cost just about as much as buying a new one or maybe even more. So now I am looking to purchase a new one. I would buy it again honestly but i want something better. Maybe a 37 inch now and one with an pc input as the Philips did not come with one It will be used for playing my 360 also so it will need a fast response time. I was looking into the Sony Bravia XBR Series but it costs more than $1200 for just a 32in. Any recommendations you guys have will be very helpful. Thank you.

I’d be more concerned about putting a $1000 TV on a stand that doesn’t keep it from falling….

What’s wrong with the stand that it couldn’t protect your TV set? Missing bolts? Small Foot? Sloppy/flimsy support underneath it?
You should fix that problem…..first.
